What is broadband?

Fibre To The Cabinet — fibre goes to the green street cabinet, then copper continues to the home. Speeds drop the further you are from the cabinet. Typical UK FTTC delivers 30–80 Mbps.

DOCSIS is the technology Virgin Media uses on its coaxial network. It can deliver gigabit speeds today but it isn't fibre to the premises — upgrades depend on the operator's roll-out plan.

You can cancel any active subscription from your dashboard. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain full access until then. No clawback of monthly tokens used during the period.
